Lecture

I did an activity in my lecture today. I was explaining on the modes of delivery they could utilize for their presentations. One of them is Impromptu Speaking.

Thus, at the end of my lesson, I asked them to turn the page and jot down the title of a speech I was going to give them.

"The Most Memorable Day/Moment of My Life"

I had 2 heroes (I call the guys heroes) to present for me first as they were late for my class.

The 1st one presented about his surprise birthday party at Pizza Hut.

The 2nd one presented about his 21st birthday surprise trip to Taiwan.

The 3rd one presented about his boring life ... (seriously, he told me there's nothing interesting in his life).

The 4th one presented about her New Year celebration at Genting Highland.

Majority voted for the Taiwan story. Well, it was really an interesting speech.

As a present to appreciate his courage and participation, I gave him a flower I bought from Memory Lane.

Whatever it is, I hope my students enjoyed the activity and learn something out of it. One of the challenges is trying not to make my lecture go too dry. And I try to input more ... more in my future classes. I hope I have the time and resources.

Of course, and also participation :)

Thank you for participating in today's activity. I'm super happy! :D

You should have volunteered. Try it next time, ok? It feels good to be up there :)
