Instead of line and line of words or pictures after pictures which would crack laughter, it brought back a whole lots of childhood memories.
It all flew back into my mind after I look at the pictures one by one.
Let me go through this each of this together with you:
Anyone remember these collectibles?
Well at least to us, back then, these are the collectibles we could afford using our pocket money to buy food at the canteen!
The Fruit-themed rubber!
Back then, I would keep them nicely in my drawer at home, refusing to use them until there are no more rubbers left for me to use in class. And then, I would go to that "rubber compartment" and choose the least favourite design to use.
The Flag-themed rubber
The Flag-themed rubber
I used to collect these. But it wasn't long until I gave them up (ended up using it in class), because I preferred the Fruit-themed rubbers more!
I think the guys would remember this, as I used to watch my guy classmates collecting them during my primary school days. Remember?!
The ever canggih Pencil Case!
Remember those compartments?!?!?!
The more compartments, the more canggih it seems.
I had one plain red one.
And after I outgrown the one on the top, my late uncle bought a Barbie-themed pencil case like the one below when I got 2nd in class for my final term exam!

And after I outgrown the one on the top, my late uncle bought a Barbie-themed pencil case like the one below when I got 2nd in class for my final term exam!
It made me a very happy kid. I proudly showed everybody in class, used it with very much care and was so upset when I accidentally dropped it when I was in class.
My mom sent my sister, Lee Li, and I for art classes on every Friday mornings. The Panda water colour paints below were my previous items back then because it was a little pricey.

When I was barely 2 years old, my dad bought a little piano for me :)
Do you remember this one?!
The Little Piano
Only that mine was in the colour of mandarin orange.
I think my mom brought it to school for her kids to play.
Haha.
Ahhh... memories. :)
More!!!
Cartoons are one of the items which kept us glued to the TV for more than half an hour. Wake up very early just to watch it on weekends. Or, a reason for our moms to rest before we get up and about again!
Here's to the guys who have much of their fighting acts learned and practiced at school!
The He-Man Masters

The He-Man Masters
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder Cat!!!
Back then, this is our version of Transformers
I am able to relate more to these cartoons below:
The Popeye
Back to the Future
The Ninja Turtle
Which is your favourite colour?!?!
Mine is the colour orange
Doraemon

Doraemon
My favourite character was Sizuka, the cute little girl.
The Smurff
The Smurff
Ahhh, don't you love Smurffs? I heart Smurff! I think they are really cute little cartoon characters. It is such a waste when they actually banned the show from Malaysian TV.
Naruto Dragon Ball
Do you watch Naruto Dragon Ball?
I know my cousins do.
Tom & Jerry
I know my cousins do.
Tom & Jerry
Awww... I just love the love-hate relationship between these two little rascals.
Cheeky little Jerry & ego-ish Tom just never fail to cheer us up, aren't they?
Next!!!
This is the part when a lot of memories started flowing back into my mind. Before this, I think it was parked behind my brain for so long that I nearly forgot them. Ishh...
Paper Dolls
Back then, everyone around me had a Barbie doll. I ran back home from my neighbour's and told mommy that I wanted Barbie Doll too. But we could barely afford a toy.
Not wanting to see her little girl tear so much, my beloved mother bought the paper dolls for my sister and I. She said that we could be more creative by designing more clothing and accessories on ourselves, on top of what has to offer in the packaging!
Yes, my mom is a creative fabulous mom.
What do you call these? Please, enlightened me.
Do you still remember that paper puzzle above?
I used to play this with my classmates in primary school. We opened and closed with a rhythm using four little fingers slipped underneath each cone-like shapes. My friends and I would guess if the teacher's going to be absent to class, the boy sitting next to us likes us ... stuff like that. The answers are hidden inside those cone-like shapes.
Haha! Girly things that we used to do. :)

Classic Card Games
Oh, I will definitely remember this! I used to always play this with my cousins (remember?) at my house when they come visit during school holidays. My mom would always prefer that we either read one of her Enid Blyton books from the library (gahh!) or play card games together.
Of course, we would always choose the latter. :)
My favourite is Happy Family. Because I always wins.
Pure luck!
Super Mario Video Game on PS1
Oh my cousin sister would definitely cheer on this one!!!
She's so good at it that she could go up to so many levels, getting all of the bonus point and last but not least, able to sit on top of the flag at the end of EACH level!
Canggih or not?
Back then, my sister, Leeli and I would always ask my mom to leave us at my cousin's place, so we could join them on the PS1 to (watch her) play Super Mario.
No more Happy Family card games!
The Little Soldiers
Oh, for some reason, I do not know why I used to have a set of these soldiers at my grandmother's shop. I think it should be my cousin's.
Is it? Or no?
The Shot
In Kelantanese term, we always call it the bidoh or bidah (Correct or not?).
This is really, really classic. Kampung style shooting game to irritate the birds on trees. Be careful of the beehive though!
I don't get to play this ... my mom disallow. She said it is evil and so not girlish!
The Yo-Yo
But I can totally remember this. My cousins, sister and I didn't really play this for too long as it runs on battery. And after a while, maybe only 15 minutes, we got bored looking at the penguin sliding and gliding up and down.
Yes, we're very active children who easily get bored.
Game Boy
Yes, we're very active children who easily get bored.
Game Boy
I do remember playing this for a few minutes at my mom's friend's place. I think so?
Fighting Cat Fish
Fighting Cat Fish
Ah-hah! I remember seeing this in school! My classmates (boys) will bring this to school and compare their fishes...make them fight....so cruel and violent right?
*shakes head*
Crazy things that boys do at times that we, girls, will never understand.
And, of course, vice-versa.
The Police Officer

The Police Officer
Anyone had this game before? I never seen this.
The Plastic-Rubber Dart Gun
The Plastic-Rubber Dart Gun
Oh Oh Oh!!! My late-grandfather has a lot of these at his shop. Maybe because he is in the gun-bullet (real ones, mind you!) industry, he wants his grandchildren to love them as well.
And, WE DO!!!
We will always aim it at his huge bullet-proof store room, where all the bullets and guns are kept, and shoot it that steel door. Especially, Alex Ang, my late-grandfather's first grandson. He is the only one among the grandchildren to lay his hands on a hand gun. How lucky!
The Bubble
My sister, Leeli and I will always walk to the little grocery store, kedai runcit, to get these bubbles. Back then, it was RM0.10 for one, if I'm not mistaken. It brights up our days when we were both (still only 2 of us before my mom popped my younger sisters) getting too bored with Enid Blyton books at home.
Those were the days... :)
The Flying Saucer
And of course, I saw this at the kedai runcit before. But it just isn't our kind of game, ya know. So we still settle for the bubbles instead. HAHA.
The Little Pebbles
And of course, I saw this at the kedai runcit before. But it just isn't our kind of game, ya know. So we still settle for the bubbles instead. HAHA.
The Little Pebbles
I would always remember how my cousins and I (yes, we grew up together and spend almost all of our school holidays together until we grew older) treasure our little glass pebbles. We call them guli.
We would have these 7 of these little guli placed in each hole... remember the game called Congkak? Go Google.
And yes... the boys does this with the glass pebbles.
HAHA
The next thing that I'm going to reminice about would be something we all live up for.
Food!!!!!
Or, should I say junk food?
TORA Chocolate
The next thing that I'm going to reminice about would be something we all live up for.
Food!!!!!
Or, should I say junk food?
TORA Chocolate
I didn't really like this because the chocolate tastes a little bit too sweet for me. But, I know my sister loves this.
Sugus
Sugus
Something I will always buy whenever I get to the canteen when I was in kindergarten. :)
I think Sugus grew up together with most of us. Even up until today as we grow a little bit older.
Jelly Jelly

Jelly Jelly
When I was in kindergarten, my grand-uncle would be the one who walk me and pick me up from school. Whenever I ask for something sweet, he'll buy me these colourful jellies. Hehe!
Crazy-shaped Jelly
Crazy-shaped Jelly
When I attend primary school, I no longer have my grand-uncle walking me to school anymore. But I was an independant kid. I would go to the canteen and buy these jellies in different shapes and colours!!!
Bubble Gum (with tattoo)
Bubble Gum (with tattoo)
I know everybody would remember these bubble gums! They taste good and yes, those tattoos really make us crazy :D
My cousins, sisters and I would certainly guess the tattoos first before chewing on our gum.
On secret that I'm going to spill here for the very first time is that I did swollow the gum before. Only one time. And it freaked me out I thought I was going to die or have to undergo operation to get it out of me.
Icing Biscuit

Icing Biscuit
We still get these little biscuits today at the small grocery shops and I still love them!
Which is your favourite colour? Or do you not have a favourite colour?
My favourite colour would be the white one while I always hate the pink one. The pink icing tastes really bitter! Yuck.
Grape/Orange Bubble Gum

Grape/Orange Bubble Gum
This is not as good as the previous one I mentioned above because you can't blow any bubbles. But it tastes really good! I would buy this whenever the other one runs out of stock! Yes, at the kedai runcit behind my house again.
Cocoa Ball
Cocoa Ball
I never tried or seen this before. Anyone?
Ahhh... are those memories flowing back into your mind all over again? Playing and spending time with your siblings and cousins. Fighting, shouting and crying at each other. Silly things that we do.
The memories. Our stories. The nostalgia.
