I read this from one of my favourite food blogger from Singapore who just returned from the Philippines.
Philippine men (and maybe people who travel there just for this purpose) loves to enjoy this delicacy of eating ducklings.
Mind you, they are not even out in this mean world yet and they are cracked out of their comfortable space in its egg and being eaten straight out from their flash.
Filipinos recon to eat them in the dark so you would not see what you're eating. Some finds it rather interesting, doesn't taste bad or just a little bit gooey.
One may come to a certain point of time when you chew, you'll feel something crunchy. Yes, it's their beak or maybe its delicate bones.
AND, the main purpose of having this delicacy in the first place was to perform better in bed.
Sigh.
I just find this so mean and disgusting.
Then my friend asked me "You don't eat duck meat or chicken?"
That is when I decided to just stop discussing about the topic.
Oh, and if you preferred them fried.
YUCK!!!!
Anyway, here's something so extremely different. In terms of the mood of typing and reading it. wtf.
Haha.
My family was here so we went to the temple and did a few things together. Not so much this time.
They decided to bring Tabeah to the zoo, but I don't really fancy KL zoo, so I just passed.
Before my family board the bus back to KB, Darling bought them dinner at our favourite steamboat place in Cheras.
My youngest sister
Then today, Darling and I decided to give Popeye a try.
Not TOO bad. But I still prefer KFC. :P
Their coleslaw is a little more green. Much healthier I would say, because you don't really taste the dressing.
Both of us love their mash potatoes. Something different as the one at KFC is so oily and unhealthy.
This is the 2 pc. chicken set. I love the bun! Its crispy on the top :)
This is definitely better than the on from KFC.
And so you can see, this is how we spent our long weekend.
Haha.
Anyway, we went to the park and ran for 45minutes. OK, I walked (very fast) most of the time. I seriously need my stamina back. I feel that my body has aged so much. I used to hike the mountain for 6 hours straight!
Geeeeez...
Have a good week ahead people!
