The Bus

Having live in KL for more than 4 months now, I have started to have a lot of negative remarks about our capital city.

Our beloved Kuala Lumpur.

It is indeed full of lumpur.

Even the bus also have no where to park their buses. Or even have a proper stop to pick-up their passengers.

Most of the time, they'll block our already congested roads within the city, especially roads around Masjid Jamek.

The authorities don't care or have they no common sense?

When they started a bus system, have they not thought of a proper place to our buses to park/stop?

Metrobus yang disayangi

In addition, look at the design of our Metrobus and SJ Bus. They are totally handicapped unfriendly! You think everybody can climb that stairway up to the bus meh?

People with short legs like me had a terrible time boarding and getting down the bus!

What things things worst is the attitudes of our bus drivers. They just makes things a whole lot worst. I think they are just a pain in the ass that turn people away.

I'm not talking about their behaviors as a person. OK, maybe some need to change their behaviors. But, specifically, I'm talking about the way they drive their big fat buses.

Having commented about the design of our buses, with the high steps to board the bus, we need more time to get up, but our
nice bus drivers would just ZOOOOMMMMM like nobody's business even before we grab our seats. Gila.

And they would just stop by the road, even when it is not a bus stop. OK la, being nice to people who have missed their stops. So what? You have hundreds of cars behind you waiting OK! So 100 people have to wait for 1 miserable person to get down the bus because he/she missed the stop?
Get down the next stop lar!

The side road on the left is already illegally parked by cars, so the yellow bus had to occupy the middle road to turn left at the traffic light in front, which causes more conggestion. Dangerous too.

When the traffic light turned green, the yellow bus refused to jalan. So I went to the left lane. Mana tahu, the Metrobus in front was going to turn right and it was too jammed pack in front that Metrobus cannot jalan.

I think the authorities should look into this issue...

Because you see, the city of Kuala Lumpur already looks old and dusty, with very dirty walkways. No wonder they are starting a big project in building more overhead bridges to divert tourists.

Sneaky~!!

I have this thought so many times as to why authorities never take initiatives to beautify our high-tourists-traffic areas. Especially walkways along Jalan Bukit Bintang/the Golden Triangle area. It is so dirty and full of sneaky people that look at you like they have never seen woman before. Takut gila.

And we have lots of orang gila and drug addicts wandering around the road. How do I know? Because I have frequent visitors outside my condo, restaurants where we dined and even met one when Darling and I were shopping in Quicksilver, Bukit Bintang.

Something must be done!!!
