My sister got an offer to study Hotel Management in TAR College. For those who know me long enough, you'll know I studied here. Hehe.
It was a thrill to go back for a visit after so long. My last time there was for an Open Day duty for UTAR.
To my pleasant surprise, KTAR has revamped! Looking so much more modern and beautiful!
KTAR is now gated by steel gates, it used to be bricks (very old-school-looking)
But now, so beautiful!
But now, so beautiful!
If you see behind the gates, that's the new building.
Very beautiful and modern-looking. :)
We went to the hostel to help my sister check-in.

Yep, I used to stay here. And I love it a lot.
Another surprise was that it looks so new and bright now! Not that it used to be so ugly. But it looked old.
Now, it has this Visitor's Place...air-conditioned!!!
The beautiful canteen
We went to check-in and was given Block A.
I was excited because I used to stay in Block A! But she got the 3rd floor, while I used to stay on the 4th floor. :)
It was again, surprising, when we opened the door.
Horror surprise.
How can someone live like that?
You have to practically climb across a pile of rubbish to get into bed.
Another pile of rubbish in front of the cupboard
We (my darling and I) made a conclusion that she never stayed there before
We (my darling and I) made a conclusion that she never stayed there before
As usual, I suggested to complain and CHANGE.
Even though Darling said (and I saw) that there was a huge notice that we are not allowed to ask for a change of rooms.
We went to the office and to my surprise, they knew her and the root to the problem.
So, why the hell do you still give me that room?!?!
To test and see if we'll accept your offer like idiots?
Anyway, maybe she has problems.
We were told that she was there for 4 years and has changed courses so many times that she is not going to graduate yet. An average student take 2 years to graduate.
My dad said "You should get Alam Flora to shift her things already"
We got a new room and it was still Block A (the best!) and on the 4th floor.
My dad was worried that there will be leakage problems but please-lah...I don't think so.

See, it's bright and clean.
I used to stay here with a girl name Winne and then after she moved out, Karen Kong came to the rescue :)
My sister is at Room 405
VERY much better
We helped her unpack and clean up the room
In the mean time, lots of memories of me spending time in the quiet little hostel room with my roommate started filling up my mind.
Lots of DVD moments, staying up til late nights talking to hostel friends and mostly, Karen..oh, how I miss her. Because she's a really nice girlfriend for a nice girly pillow talk :)

This used to be her room before she moved into mine. :)
Because I made really good friends and had wonderful memories :)
