Christmas 2008

The Curve

Looking forward to Christmas! What theme should be our office-party be? I witnessed the 'snow' thingy outside Cineleisure last night when we were waiting for the time to pass as we had too much time to spare before our movie starts. Nothing very grand on the snow part so don't expect too much. Sorry, no photos of the thing again.

Just at the flick of that moment, I remembered times when I was throwing snowballs at my host-sisters and host-brother on the mountain in Alicante, Spain. All of a sudden, as I am writing now, I thought if I would have remained in the family, not make complains about what was going on in the house at the time, would I be happy too?

The Navarro family kept me in the house most of the time, listening to endless arguments between my host-parents while I kept myself to the computer and books. However, I have very good friends and helpful teachers who I love a lot. Language was the only barrier; but not an issue. My only regret leaving the Navarro family was that I had to leave on my eldest host-sister's birthday, she was the nicest person in the family. And, I never had the chance to bid goodbye to my friends.

Not that Myriam and her family treated me not as good, they were the lovely people in the world. Their recent visit to Malaysia after 7 years brought back a lot of memories from the back of my head. When all of us had dinner together with my parents and sisters, we depict such a beautiful picture of world culture. Where race and skin colour doesn't exist in dictionaries.
Darn, I couldn't find the picture both my families took together in Kelantan. Use your imagination, OK? HAHA

Looking forward to my Christmas break in Singapore. :)
