Ironic as it is, I love Patrick Teoh. I knew this infamous DJ on Radio 2 since listening to him every evening drive time when I was young. He is famous for his crazy jokes that can be sarcastic and sounded too straight-forward and unacceptable to some of our fellow Malaysians. I remember how Patrick Teoh shun people out by canceling their phone calls when people call-in to talk to the DJs without turning off their own radios at home (causing distruption).
I remember how Patrick replied and canceled a phone call from a woman who was scolding him for being rude during his drive time radio program. Some how or rather, my mom and I took it as our entertainment program during the evenings, driving back from school.
Until one day people could stand his sarcasm anymore, Patrick wasn't allowed to be on air anymore after making racist (I think so?not sure) statements. At least, this was what I knew from mommy and some news articles.
Whatever it is, I still remember this man.
Spending the long weekend with Darling allowed more time for crazy things that we do. More gaming, blogging, makan and crapping time. We crap a lot, sometimes I wonder if this is healthy for both of us. Haha.
I scrolled down Marina Mahathir's links and saw Patrick Teoh blog! Spent some time reading his postings on his blogged simple titled "Niamah". This guy can really write good stuff! I have lots more to learn about thinking critically on certain issues... I hate politics anyway.
I have tagged on Patrick and another blogger - Daphne Ling, whom I do not know who she is. But she posts quite often. So, I think she's worth tagging as I love reading blogs. Xia Xue had not been posting frequently, so I need more blogs to keep me occupied. Good ones that is.
It's already 5.24pm! The long weekend is coming to an end? What the heck!
