The Loaf

Last Friday, Darling and I were having our usual stroll at Pavilion before having dinner and going for a movie at the cinema.

We decided to pop into The Loaf, known to be owned by our beloved Tun Dr. Mahathir. It is quite an atas (luxurious) to get your piece of cake or a loaf. We decided to buy a few to try.

Then, I remembered I forgot to withdraw money for the weekend and I only have RM3 in my purse. Pathetic.

Darling just pat me on the head and graciously tells me not to worry about it. :)

Yes, I am touch by even the little tiny bits of things, which is what that matters most in a relationship. The thought.

Ohh, here's The Loaf.

Love the deco and these little cheese cakes!

But we just pick a few of their bakes in the store. :)

To this person, why you want to cut lane ah? Cannot line up from behind meh? I waited for the traffic light for few rounds leh! Wah lau.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Oh, Megan Fox is SO HOT.

Now I know what is the hype about on radio about Megan Fox. She's sultry, sexy and has a hot bod. I haven't really read a lot about her yet. Will do so when I have the time one day.

Autobots and the Decepticons had a real fight ... the robot twins were hilarious!

AND, I am so glad that Optimus Prime didn't die in the end. He's still one of the heroes of the movie anyway. :)

p/s: I had a really great Sunday with the girlfriends and his family ... had steamboat for dinner. My fav. :)

Good morning Saturday!

Darling bought tickets to watch Transformers at The Gardens, Midvalley this evening. :)

Let's see if the hype about it is true ... I bet it is. Heh.

XOXO,

Michael Jackson: King of Pop Died Too Soon

This morning, I was shocked to learn that Michael Jackson has passed away. As songs from his fantastic career was played on the radio, I could sing along in my heart. I had it all in my head.

All of a sudden, tears ran down my cheeks.

I never thought I would react to Michael Jackson in such a way. I grew up with Michael Jackson's fantastic career and songs which touches my heart.

I truly remembers his songs, great dance moves on stage and his music videos. And it is all that truly matters for an artist for me.

Michael Jackson inspired the musical industry with his dance moves. Various artist improvised his songs and adapted into cartoons and even movies.

He will always be remembered for the moonwalk. The great things he had done by giving back to the community via various charity campaigns and funds.

I will always remember how he touched my heart through his songs like Ben, Billie Jean, Heal the World, Black or White, We are the World, etc.

Michael Jackson died too soon. Last week, Mix FM was just talking about his upcoming concert in July @ London. I was looking forward to it.

Throughout his dramatic life, Michael Jackson went through various spotlight, especially on his court cases. But all these while, I do not know the real reason why, for that in my heart, whenever I read his cases on the media, I felt bad for him. I couldn't imagine he would be that sort of person. Perhaps, I never let myself believe so.

And when he had to sell Neverland - his dream home, declared bankruptcy ... I felt bad for him.

Michael was working on his concert entitled "This Is It" ... the final curtain call for his career before he collapsed. Part of me, when tears ran down my cheeks, I felt bad as of why couldn't he get that last moment he wanted in his life. I felt so sad for him.

I would call Michael Jackson as the Elvis Presley of my era. He's a legend. He will definitely be missed and remembered.

More about Michael at his official website.

Crazy Traffic

One Friday evening it rained like cats and dogs. You and me know that if it is a Friday evening and if it is raining, you'll get crazy traffic that makes you &^%*%$$#@# like mad.

Darling was stuck for about 1 hour just to come to my house. And along Jalan Changkat Bukit Bintang, just one street away from my house, the lane turned from a 2 way street to a 3 way street.

Crazy!!!

And yesterday, when I was driving back home, one stupid car was probably dreaming/thinking about something really hard as he was driving at only 20 kmph along a road with NO cars. I wanted to honk, but by the time we arrived at this traffic light, it turned red. I was cursing in my head but swollowed my anger.

BUT, when the traffic light turned green... he didnt drive!!!!!! WTH. So I honk honk honk honk HONK really loud and took a picture.

NAH! Here you go, note that stupid car plate.

If you have something in your head or you have no mood to drive. Don't drive la! WALK. Because walking is faster than you driving at this kind of speed.

Erm...

Yes, I bought the dress. Sorry to disappoint you.

But I love the dress! I was so happy when I tried it on, the dress was so comfy, it fitted me nicely!

The material? GOSS:P never disappoints me. Oh no, they don't. It was very comfy, good quality cotton.

Check out their collection by clicking their link on the left panel.

I love it I love it I love it.

Birthday Boy

I went to Cold Storage and bought something. Then, I went over to his place.

Hello, so how are you today? In such a good mood ah?
*humming a song* Me? Good mood? I am in such a bad mood OK!
Why?
Because you wanted to come and you only phoned at the very last minute!
*took out the present and showed it to him and his eyes lighted up with joy*
Are you still in a bad mood now?

No no, of course I am very happy now!

I bought him a pint of Baskin Robbins in chocolate flavour :)
It was his favourite ice-cream and I am glad I made him happy.

As you all know, I was in the Lion City. We drove there (again) but made an important stop in Seremban as we have something really important to deliver.

Yes. We bought 2KG of crabs! And we both suffered the smell throughout the journey because it smells really good and obviously, delicious!

We were at the correct speed (serious!) but this bus was obviously at the wrong lane. AND, he ignored our signal, indicating to move back to the left lane. The bus was also going at a ridiculous speed.

So, remember the name of the bus. Irresponsible driver.

Close-up photo of the bus. Nah, the bus' plat number. This is for being irresponsible!

Somemore, the name of the bus company is Aneka Jasa-ramai. In English, it simply means doing good for others. You are speeding at a crazy speed given for buses and at the wrong lane, and you say you're doing good for others. WTH.

Anyway, we arrived Singapore's Tuas (second link) immigration check-point a bit later than our previous trip in March due to our stop in Seremben. But it was worth it. 1st, we got the yummylicious crab. 2nd, we avoided the massive rush hour jam.

Lucky for us, we have Garmin the navigator to guide us along the way even though Darling knew the way.

My sister was already texting me on my mobile phone as she was superbly hungry. At 7pm? Very late for dinner meh?

After living in as many hotels half the globe, my sister has inherited the habit of the room.

Goods from the Los Angelas, US

We had dinner at the food court in Bedok, where my youngest aunty stays. No photos because we were very hungry. Especially my sister.

And after dinner, we were looking forward to see the little ones.

Look at her!!!

She has grown up and learnt how to snatch toys from the older brother...naughty...

I bought t-shirts for each of them. Barney is for her because it is her favourite cartoon character.

Immediately, she asked me to put it on for her! HAHA

And she walked to her brother, showing the t-shirt (I think) and just rested her head on the brother... so manja.

After that, I showed my aunty the dish she was waiting for. But she was super-duper shocked when she was the amount of crabs that we have bought!

Aiyo... you are going to really feed us with crabs ah!?

Preparing to heat them up

As she was preparing, she kept telling my sister that it is really A LOT of crabs!

Into the micro-oven..........

Voila, together with the sauces!

Everyone got together at the tea table in the living room. The little boy was delighted!

... and she was also curious and happy because she loves to eat! She loves food ... but ended up disliking the taste of the crab. Hehe.

We were all at the table devouring the yummy crab and the only one available left to entertain this little girl was Darling. But she wasn't really satisfied though... kept coming to us for attention. Naughty girl. But cute. :)

The next day, we went to meet non-other than my best friend in the world, Miss Kai Pei and her boyfriend - De Yang.

The Couple

We met at Atria@ Orchard Road and had our lunch at this Japanese Restaurant

I heart Chawan Mushi

We also ordered a few ala-carte sushi

We thought we ordered too much!

Ended up finishing (almost) everything ... after Darling pestered Kai Pei to eat her sushi

Yes! Yes! Yes! It was the GSS when we were in Singapore during the weekend.

GSS= Great Singapore Sale!

ALMOST everything was on sale except....

Nice ambient eh? I love it.
Creative ideas blow my mind away.

Crocs, anyone? Didn't have my size though.

People and more people at the mall.

As Darling was enquiring for his watch at Guess, we happilly took a picture.

Come, we take a picture together. *Handing camera to De yang*
Eh, can or not?
Don't care.
*smile!*

Yea, do it before it is too late. Why wait? What is wrong with taking a picture in the store. It is not like you're in a muzium when they want to preserve the original colour of the replicas. This is GUESS ok. What's so great about GUESS. Their design of their bags get hideous by the season. Bah~

Both of us at Orchard Road@ outside Takashimaya

If you can't find me anywhere in Singapore, I'll definitely be at Takashimaya or at least, somewhere in Orchard Road. Hehe.

We walked from Atria towards Robinson as the shoe Darling wanted wasn't available at his size at Takashimaya.

The lovely couple that accompanied us on Saturday. Hope you were not bored :)

Us

More pictures as we waited for Darling

He finally got the shoe... I love it too :)

More of us

And then .... we went for fondue at Häagen-Dazs®

I love chocolates, although it is fattening. But it is fine to have it once in a while. :)

The guys. I wonder why De Yang looked like he was avoiding Darling.

Both of us with our favourite ice-cream!

See, the photo turned out good. Please don't kill me for putting this photo up. :)
I know you love me

We had to cut short our conversation as my sister and her bf was waiting for us at the mrt station. We were going to have dinner at Clark Quay.

God, I look so fat in this picture. Sigh.

Ain't my sister pretty?

Beautiful Clark Quay

It was River Festival. Boring. Just a few boats going rounds...

Randomly, Singapore flag and some canggih looking helicopter flew by

If I was in a proper attire, I would have tried this.

We had dinner at the Hooters. Their waitress dress up in hot pants and singlets!
Something different. I was asked not to take this picture. But I already took it. Too late!

We ordered from the ala-carte menu to share.
Really nice curly fries!

Tasty hot chicken wings with different flavours :)

We also ordered main courses to share.
A Fish n' Chips & my sister's Beef fondue.
No pictures due to the level of concentration on the food by yours sincerely.

After that, we heard music and saw the acrobat shows at the stage.

We walked at the Central Mall for a while before retiring home because my sister got called-up for a Johannesberg flight. Sien.

We sent my sister to Terminal 3. Did a little bit of shopping at the airport (airport also can shop one ok, Terminal 3 is fantastic ... IN the terminal more canggih as more shops).

Then, we bid goodbye to my sister. I gave her a really tight hug.

The next day, before starting our journey back to KL, we woke up really early to join my aunt's family and the kids for breakfast at KFC. They were going to the zoo ... we didn't want to follow because we will be dead tired. So, after some shopping at NTUC & Sim Lim, we started our journey back to KL.

Very tiring, but fulfilling journey :)

More photos of the little girl!

A trip to the playground and she was screaming with joy :)

As you can see, Darling was the only one entertaining them under the sun.

She loves the thrill on the slide

After Darling told her that she couldn't climb down that stairs by herself, she screamed for her mother for assistance. -___-

So, I carried her down with her dragging her legs on the stairs like she was really climbing it.

When she talks to you, she really wants to make a statement!

Doesn't she look good in her white Snow White-like dress?

Something from US, courtesy of my sister. Love it to bits!

I hope to be back to Singapore soon. Soon .... I hope.
