:)

This is by far, my favourite birthday picture since I've grown a little older. wtf.

Thank you, Sharon, for the beautiful picture of me and the cakes!
Oh, I just love desserts. :)

So, Beanie arrived a day after my birthday from East Malaysia. He was there due to work and was so exhausted from the various modes of transportation, good food and traveling he had to take throughout the trip.

But we still went for a fabulous buffet dinner at Shangrila Hotel's Lemon Grass Restaurant (If I get the name right. Don't quote me).

The highlight of the night is not only the ambiance of the restaurant & hotel but the array of seafood available at the buffet table!

Me likey :)

The local delights were that good. Beanie wasn't full enough because he didn't have rice so he went for another round looking for something to go with the white rice.

Hmmmmmm

Anyway, he knew I was dying to jump straight into dessert. So, we did!

DON'T YOU LOVE IT???!!!!

Just by looking at how colourful they were made me super excited! :D

Both of us were looking at the yellow-coloured fondue and were wondering if it was orange flavoured coco fondue or something but it was CHEESE.

*gulp*

Hell, no.

We went only for the chocolate one, of course. :)

Oh, look at this!

I didn't know where to start plucking the strawberries, until one huge Indian guy came, stretched his arms in front of me and plucked on from the top.

-______-

I swear I could smell armpit smell because he was so much taller than me. fml.

While I was busy at the fondue corner, the big guy came whispering to me sadly that there were no more watermelons!

At this hour? We were still way before their closing time! What is this?

So, I asked him to go and ask if they are refilling the watermelons. Well, they should!

And you could see he was so happy when the happy waiter (I don't know why everybody seem happy working there, greeting the guesses and all except one very grumpy dude waiting on our table) refilled the watermelons.

I know he doesn't look happy here but he was very happy :D

Love love love

I didn't like the ice-cream though.

After dinner, we went around taking more pictures. It was some time ago since I stepped into Shangrila Hotel. Beautiful.

And again... please don't hate me for repeating this for the millionth time:

I love my beautiful Lilies. :)

:P

Thank you. I love the bouquet.

XOXO,

Blast Birthday Celebration!!!

As I always say, I am truly blessed.

My birthday started off with a really sweet birthday messages from Beanie and my best friend in the world, Pei. :)

It was a typical morning when I went to Uni for my 8am class.

I saw Andrew (my student) at the lift but didn't get to ask him where he was going because he was hiding behind Dr. Chia, our Principal!

Of course, I greeted her first instead of questioning Andrew.

Anyway, I walked to class.

But, I was so surprised to see only like 5 people in class. This is certainly not normal for this bunch of people I have for this class.

So, I asked those present where were the rest?! They didn't answer my question.

OK, 8am. Fine.

Anyway, I played a video while waiting for the rest to come in.

Then, Andrew came into class and I asked him "Where are the rest??!"

Suddenly, he shouted "Woohoo!! You guys can all come in!! Woohoo!!!"

O___O

I was so shocked and surprised!

I surely teared a little bit because I wasn't prepared for anything like that!

They all came into the room, holding the cake and singing the birthday song. :)

Pictures!!!

The cake

Preparation of my birthday card

So, Andrew was actually taking the lift to 4th floor (where everyone was hiding) to sign my card :0

One of my students told me that they actually asked everyone to turn up at uni at 7.30am to prepare for the surprise and sign the huge card. *So touched*

The birthday cake :)

I was counting the candles because I notice that it wasn't the supposed number -___-

Made a wish and blew my candles

I always joked about being Forever 18 so they decided to write "18" on the cake because they, obviously, didn't know my age. :P

Yes, the card was SO HUGE. Largest one I'd ever received to date! :)
It is as huge as my body!

I told them I wasn't good at cake-cutting so they were laughing :S

The just knew I love chocolate cake or what?!!

The beautiful bunch of students in my class :)

I told you they are a fun bunch!

Back in my office, taking a good look at the cards & gifts

They said I am the tree that they will grow with :)

And when I went back to my workstation, I saw a message that made me laugh out loud :D
*inside joke*

My sweet colleagues gave me a nice cup and a teddy bear for good use. You'll know why later!

Then, went for birthday lunch with my teammates at Atria!

Had Penang food :)

Dorris and Maha was truly in deep discussion!

While I was just having a good time

Told ya!

Then, Winnie (admin) came and whispered to me that there's a flower bouquet waiting for me downstairs at the reception!

So, I quickly went downstairs to sign it off, but had to leave it at the reception before bringing it back to my workstation after lunch.

I love the bouquet. My favourite flowers.

Isn't he sweet?

Zee & Anna gave me a gift too :)

Yep, now my iPhone blings! :D

Then, we went for a meeting at 4pm, when we put our teddy bears into good use!
Now you see why! We had so much fun. Everytime!

After work, went to Alexis@Midvalley for a girly dinner :)

Pizza and Pasta night

We all prefer the pizza by Alexis. The pasta was just mediocre.

Then, Wendy whipped out the cupcakes JC bought from a charity event!
Aren't they cute?!!!

In deep photo-taking mode.

I love this shot :)

The Pavlova cake (on the right) is a must have @Alexis!

:)

It was so good to come home with a box of birthday cupcakes, a bouquet of Lilies and sweet memories.

I had a blessed birthday.

Good wishes from your family & friends.
Endless facebook birthday wishes.
Surprises throughout the day.
Pampered and feeling so so loved.
Girly dinners.

... and that wasn't it. Darling will be back tomorrow! :)

XOXO,
