Certain things in life can really break us.

The security.
The confidence.
The assurance.

Being positive. Can be difficult.

To Pei, thank you for being my 100% listening ear and pillar at all times. I thank you for bringing me back to path.

To Darling, you're everything in my life.

When I peeped through the door to see if he's already here, I saw him holding a huge bouquet of sunflowers.

The bouquet was so huge and heavy. The largest bouquet I have ever received.

They are really beautiful. Huge. As huge as my palm.

"I want you to be always happy like the sunflower."

And I promised him to be back to path.

Take up challenges in life like how I used to do.
Be brave.
Be positive and confident in decisions I make in life.
Believing that I have my aura.
To believe that I am beautiful in my own way.

Because I know whenever I'm tired of being independent, I have you to rely on. To save me and back me up. To tell me that everything is alright and I will be fine. To re-assure me that I am worth it.

I will continue shining like the sunflower you gave me today.

As I always say, you never fail to put a smile on my face.
I love you.

FoooooD

Yesterday, my sister arrived and she requested to have Bak Kut Teh for dinner. So, almost immediately, I text Darling so that we can make further arrangements.

But after we arrived home, dad cooked a little bit for dinner ... so we decided to eat a little bit. I drank the soup.

My sister went for shower, I thought she was getting ready, but ended up coming out with her pyjamas. =.="

In the end, Darling brought me to the ever famous fried chicken stall in KL. Forgot the name of the place and don't know how to go. So, don't ask me where.

Fried chicken

Accompanied with chee cheong fun!
.Satisfied.

I woke up a little earlier than usual this morning, traveled to P.J. for this little boy who never fails to cheer me up.

He always knew I will be bored while waiting for him to take his time finishing his exercises. So, he took out his new iPod Shuffle, given by his uncle for his birthday, and insisted that I share the earplug together with him.

Whenever I wanted to take the piece out from my ear, he'll make sure that I don't by playing some nice songs that may attract me. As you know, children nowadays listens to very different genre of songs by different artists. Not that I'm too old ... but it's just not my taste.

Then, he showed me his favourite book. He loves cars and knows almost everything about the evolvement of sports cars from the ancient times up until today.

I love the design of this Mercedes-Benz. Can I own one?

I fantasize the Lamborghini

Ahh, love this design better

Look at how Ferrari used to look like!

The ever elegant Porshe

The sporty Mazda RX-7 and RX8

He just couldn't sit still. He suddenly remember that we're not having our session at his grandparent's place =.=" so he ran out and promised to show me something that I would like to know.

It is his sketch book. He brings it around with him and would sketch whenever he gets inspired or bored.

Apple

The ever famous Lich King from DoTA

He said he was hungry so he drew this. Haha.

After the session, I saw how the Manchester United fans club (opposite Murni) in PJ got ready to attend the match in Shah Alam (is it?).

Have a good weekend!

XOXO,

Busy Bee

Sorry for the lack of updates.

I know these are just excuses and reasons, but I'm not feeling too well lately and have been busy with work at Uni.

My students had their midterm today. I hope they will do well, haven't looked through their answers though. Will do it during the weekend.

My sister is also here with me after traveling half the globe and then took a straight flight from Singapore to KL without any rest. So, we'll be spending a little bit of time together but seems like she's spending more time catching up on her beauty sleep on the couch! Hah!

Anyways, I shall write again soonest. Let's hope that I feel much better and everything goes well for the weekend.

Oh, my proud-ness to Darling for his most successful advertising campaign to date! I shall write about it soon. Ahh... the pride of a media planner and as a partner.

Like my ex-boss mentioned during one of our conversations a month ago ...

Hah! You're dating someone whose job you didn't want!

I know... isn't it crazy? I quit the job and I am dating someone who is at the job. Well, that's the whole point.

Puzzles

Saw this ad yesterday? Really got alien/monster?!

Check it out more on Hitz.FM and The Advertising Blog

On the other note, I'm feeling all cold again. I told Darling I am overseas =.="

Yea, I felt like I am in some country during Autumn. The temperature outside in the living room feels like it is lower than normal. Well, it can't be the rain because it stopped raining since 3pm.

Please, I don't want to be sick. I can't afford to get sick. The dilemma of an educator.

If I am sick, I have to replace classes or have someone taking over my class. Can't afford to do that due to activities I have in class everyday.

Sigh.

Best of luck to me... Hope I feel better soon.

Is it me or is it the weather, huh?!

Happy Happy Buffday!

Today, I celebrate the birthdays of important people in my life.

First and foremost, it will, of course, be no other than my best friend in the world - Kai Pei.

Finally, we're of the same age already after almost three months apart! When I was crawling, perhaps you're still learning how to crawl. Wahahahhaa...

If you have been an avid reader of my blog, you'll notice that I have blogged too often of our silly encounters and private relationships that tie us together in a very special way.

At times, we wish we're lesbians. HAHA.

Oh no, she would always say that we hope one of us could have been a guy, so we would be the happiest couple on earth!

Silly! But it is us. We're 2 silly friends who talk about everything in our lives and around us. We're family.

Hope to reunite soon when you visit this crazy city of KL or when I take another adventure to the Lion City again.

All my best wishes with you!

Next would be my wishes to Bee Kuan. Or, some of you know her as MayJune. It's her birthday today and we're suppose to have a birthday lunch on Sunday! Well, we decided to wait for JC as she's still recuperating.

Known this woman for almost 7 years now. She's one very creative and bright one who never fails to inspire us with her unique flavours and perspectives in things of life. Obviously, a very pretty one of course.

Bee Kuan, all my best wishes to your endeavours!

Oh, when I looked through the newspaper today. I notice it is our very own iconic Dr. Mahathir's birthday too! He'll be marking his 84th year on Earth today.

“Old generals do not retire but simply fade away.

“Trust me. I’m trying my best to fade away but you keep inviting me,” he said.

Oh well, Dr. M, you're one of a kind and will never fade away. At least, in the eyes of us, Malaysians.

Happy Buffday Happy Buffday Happy Buffday!!!

Get Well Soon

Get Well Soon, JC ...

Adeline came to my house today and we finally took a picture together with the help of my mommy :)

And I made her a happy girl (Adeline said one) :D

Now... we know why is she happy. Hehe!
I teared a little bit as I watch news relating to Michael Jackson on CNN. I can't help but feeling angry when I saw news about how reports were saying that the kids are not his because it is not his sperm and etc.

So what if they are not his children made out from his own DNA? He raised those kids! The only difference would be them not having his DNA. But then, what big deal would it make? Look at how some of us who are not raised by our own biological parents. The adopted children. Angelina Jolie's children. Why make it such a big deal?

When he was still alive, apart from admiring and mimicking his dance steps and moves, reports about his molestation and court cases were being throws all over the place. Now, it is all about him not producing children using his sperm.

Can't people just let Michael Jackson live his life and rest in peace?

Great Weekend!

We spent the Saturday at Midvalley Megamall. Darling got invites from AMP to watch Transformers at Garden's Midvalley. Yes, their premiere sitting. That was my second time there. Really comfy!

Watching Transformers for the second time is just as fun as the first time ... the only difference is that I knew what was going to happen next. But I still laughed a lot. Hehe.

It was fun going for the movie. I met my ex-colleagues, ex-course mates as well as friends who are still in the industry. Plus, every twin-seat comes with a large coke + popcorn. How cool is that? :D

After the movie, we walked around for a while and saw some happenings at Centre Court.

Very cute, right? (pardon the plant in the middle ... bad angle)

And they had all these cute dolls at random places around the mall!

It was Mac + iPoh Discover Week. So, we took time as there was a lot of things going on!

Say hello to Altered Frequency

They did a great one on stage by just using the iTouch and iPod as the base and other instruments. Really cool!

Of course, it attracted a huge crowd. Look at the dolls hanging on the pillars!

There were so many Macs for you to explore and try on.

Including their ever famous iPod which revolutionized the music world.

On Sunday, Darling asked what I feel like having for brunch.

I said "Dim Sum!!" with very much glee and excitement.

Then, he said "Wa, how to find Dim Sum wo? So early in the morning ...."

I just laughed and left it to him to decide.

Before I knew it, Darling made me call a number ...

Normally, when we make a phone call, the restaurant would mention the name ... but my mobile phone hanged for a while so I couldn't hear the lady. But I went on and said "Do you still have Dim Sum?"

She passed me on to the other line. Yet, the lady picked up the call without mentioning the restaurant's name. So I went on asking the same question.

She said "Yes, until 2.45pm."

I said "OK, see you!"

I hung up and asked Darling where was he bringing me. He said "Why didn't you ask the person?"

Well, I told him, it is really weird for me to call and ask "So, where is this?"

Eh hello, you call me leh, somemore ask me who am I. So weird.

Haha. But it's just me lah. Crap.

So Darling pick up his phone and called his parents... and I heard ....

Concorde Hotel !!!

So we had Dim Sum at Concorde Hotel. One of the most famous Dim Sum in town. And I tell you, it is so worth the price.

Comfy environment, well-kept even after so many years.

The father and mommy told me that Darling and his elder sister used to dine there every week when they were young. And they just love the dim sum there.

They still serve dim sum in carts. Just like a few restaurants in Hong Kong.

Darling's parents already ordered a few things ... of course we did not only eat these few

The Chee Cheong Fun with Prawns is superb ... especially the sambal chilly. Trust me!

I love the porridge. Even Darling, who hates porridge, ate 1 whole bowl. Imagine that!

The egg tarts? As good as the one in Hong Kong. Or, maybe, better!

After Dim Sum, we head to PWTC for the Malaysia International Dive Expo 2009.

Those who know me would know that I am into these crazy stuff. My mom doesn't even understand this part of me.

I told my best friend, Kai Pei, and she said that it is dangerous. She was worried of me.

I said "Yes, I want to dive. I want to see the other part of the world."

There is just so much in this world that I felt it is just wasting time to just sit here and just here. After my trip to Phi Phi Island, I admitted having a little bit of butterflies in my stomach before jumping into the sea for some snorkerling. I just fell in love with the other side of the world.

Well, I won't just dive to look at corals and beautiful animals. My mission and aim is to conserve the sea bed. In simple words, my aim is to go pick up rubbish in the sea. Hehe.

We found a few packages that attracted us. One would be the Open Water Dive Course in Tulamben, Indonesia. The price is affordable and instructors are experienced profesionnal divers. The package includes theory classes, confine water diving in its own pool before going to the sea. Suits what we are looking for.

I did tell Darling before that if we were to visit Bali, I would not only want to see the beautiful beach, sea and famous temples. My aim is to climb the volcano.

Surprisingly at that time, Darling told me "me too!".

So, we went looking for a package and the diving resort in Tulamben, just 2 hours away from Bali, offers a day trip to the volcano as well. How cool is that!

I haven't tell my mother of my plan yet since it is way than confirm. We only have sketches of what we want to do here and there ... besides looking at my trimester timetable in Uni, Darling's workload and the weather in Tulamben (for now), there are a few financial terms we would need to look into first.

I think I would freak my mother out again. Diving is already something she'd put her finger on my nose and said a big NO. I guess climbing the volcano would make her shout at me.

Oh, let's see.

Thank God It's Friday

It was a Friday and we braved the crazy traffic on the highway towards The Curve.

We were caught in the jam for more than an hour! MY GOD.

When we were finally there, the girls have already ordered because they waited for more than an hour for us.

Finger food!

I was so so so happy to be there because I miss my girls a lot.

Oh, not my girlfriends I always meet over the weekends. But they are my crazy classmates for my Master's program.

Yes, a fun and crazy bunch I tell you.

Both Darling and I sat down. I introduced him to the girls and ordered our main course.

This is Pouline's pasta.

My Jack Daniel chicken something something.

Darling's chicken burger.

While catching up with each other, we took A LOT of crazy photos. Really crazy.

Look at crazy Pouline! Cannot tahan her ....

Us and Pouline's friend, Winfred. Ahem, she was actually trying to seduce him in this photo. Crazy!

Then, Pouline suggested we take on a sultry pose. Only she succeed in it!

The happy girls which made our weekend classes a lot more fun!

Finally, a group photo :)

Jes and Shing Yih

Tamera & I

We were trying to capture a nice photo and Pouline kept making us laugh.

And finally ...

It was a great night ... we gave each other really tight hugs. We will always miss each other a lot because the bond is just not that simple. When you meet someone you can really connect with and be crazy, it is fun.
