If you have read my status on Facebook, I didn't really fall in love with London when I arrived.
It was really cold (10 degrees - you call this summer?!), windy, and raining on and off all the time.
So, we met up with our friend living in London (whom we met in Maldives), had lunch and went straight back to the hotel. It was so cold that I didn't have the mood to look and visit anything.
But the next day and the day after was good! Thank you God of the Weather!
Love those British red phone booths, eh?
And below, at the Tower Bridge - or known also as the London Bridge
Since it was a very sad day, we immediately went shopping on the 2nd day when the sun came out!
Yet, it was still so cold and windy that I had to buy another sweater.
We were so lucky because Summer Sales just started in London when we were there!
I bought these La Senza PJs, 2 for the price of 1 for only 22 pounds!!! *sense the excitement*
And when we went to Harrods, they are also having their Summer Sales. The perfume section was the craziest! They were selling all their perfume sets and these Burberry Brit set was at 26 pounds.
I bought another new Tommy Hilfiger perfume, which was just introduced for Christmas in 2010 for only 9 pounds - the small bottle lah.
OK I better stop talking about my buys before somebody kills me.
We're enjoying the sun in Barcelona.
We miss Malaysia so much; I miss the great hospitality and people in Alicante already.
So much to do and even more to look forward to when we're back in Malaysia.
For now, we already have something on for each and every weekend. AGAIN. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
But one weekend we're on our facial appointment (ok someone's rolling eyes), the other we have a birthday weekend in Melaka; then followed by a cousin-in-law's wedding and a the last weekend of July would be a very good friend's wedding in Ipoh.
I need a weekend for me-time at home. Probably only in August. But yes, we both look forward to seeing our families and friends at home. :)
k thx bye
XOXO,
theRascal
