Mei is back!

I even told my students how excited and happy I was that my sister was coming back that night. I haven't seen her for a year. Oh boy, how much I miss her! Finally, I can stop thinking what would she be doing right now or would she be OK.

If you know me enough, I am bad in showing excitements. When I am very happy, I will just be speechless and keep quiet, with a smile on my face. That is when Darling knew he really made me really happy. :)

Weird, I know.

I am weird what. Is that new? That only make me...ME.

Anywayyyy

I arrived home quite early to find that my dad was already home. We waited for Darling to come over to pick us up to the airport. And then, it started raining.

thus, add on to the bad traffic that night

We used the new highway to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). We arrived within 45 minutes with the jam in KL! Not bad eh?!

I got to witness something new.

Migrants (from Indonesia) coming in to Malaysia in search for a good job, pay and etc.
Security was very tight. Polices and armies everywhere in the airport and they had to line up when entering the immigration area (which is a total different area from the public), and then walk in lines again when exiting the airport.

I was just amazed, not by the security, but by the number of people. According to Darling, there are at least 2000 people arriving every other day!

We went to wait for my mom at the domestic arrival area and then, went to the food court to grab a late dinner after realizing that my sister's flight, transiting in Singapore, was delayed for an hour.

My sister was smart, she used the phone within the international hall to call my sister who was in Singapore. It was free of charge. :)

After dinner, we went to the international arrival hall to wait. I met up with another student who also went to the exchange program. He was waiting for his brother. How time flies. It was already 8 years.

I still remember how sad I was to leave Malaysia. And how I cried when it was time for my to leave Spain.

My mother was the most excited person. Even though it will be another half an hour before my sister's plane touches down from Singapore, she told me that she would prefer standing at the exact place where everyone would be walking by. -___-!!

Finally, Japan Airlines touches down (as shown on the schedule). After waiting for another half an hour, we saw Japanese stewardess walking out from the hall. I was getting more and more excited!

And then, I saw some youngsters with the same AFS tag on their luggage, running to their parents and shouting with lots of excitement! I got even more excited, searching for my sister!

When suddenly, Darling said "eh, what are you looking at? Lee Mei is there la!"

-_____-!!!

The next thing I remember was giving my sister a very tight hug. And then...everybody starting hugging everyone. Then, she was saying goodbye to her friends as some were leaving the airport already.

Thus, the blur pictures!

My mom and sister

Finally, all of us. Only missing my other 2 younger sisters.

She sounds much more mature. She even pierced her ear. And a longer hair.

Poor her, she was sweating because back in Germany when she left, the temperature was -20 degrees!

Welcome back, Mei!
