Arthur's Day

It was early in the morning when Mr. D told me about the event on Friday night.

Oh I was so so excited to get the tickets!!!!

It was such a good surprise for a rather moody morning and it totally cheered me up. I was snoozing under the sheets lazy to get up when I got the message, my eyes cheered up bright like a little girl in Disneyland :)

Oh everybody just had to be in black chic outfits...except a few...oops!

After a sushi dinner with the girls at Sunway Pyramid, we were so excited to see the crowd when the night falls and the lights were all up :)

Because....

....

...

...

Yep Yep Yep, you should know by now *lame*

To Arthur (!!!) For 250 years....!

I thought it was pretty unfair for the rest of the local singers who were there for the celebration when the signage at the parking says "Black Eye Peas Concert".

How about Reshmonu or Manhand's concert?!?!

hhmmpphh!!

But I was so excited to see Serena C on stage... she's another super cool woman in the industry.

Me and the girls took a few more pictures before heading into the event

Of course, the man who brought us there :)

Black Eye Peas ... I wanted to pose like them but Mr. D gave me the signal that I was blocking Tabu and the odd one out because Sharon and JC didn't pose! (-__-)

We were so tired of waiting for BEP to take on the stage.....

but yet, another shot of us.... :)

It was a huge crowd... I regretted not wearing shorts and flip-flops as the weather was really killing me. Hot!

I fell asleep on the rail, which separated the Silver area :(

And admiring people sipping away free flow of Guiness... sigh...

Listening to a lot of rapping by other artists...

And FINALLY... Black Eye Peas took the stage by storm!

Will.I.Am. can really mix music... he is really really good

Here is Fergie singing Big Girls Don't Cry.

One word: Amazing.

A lot of people do not understand what is the hype about being at concerts. The crowd. Sweat. Bad traffic. Late nights.

Well, I love the environment, live music... it blows me away.

My best experience is still... of course, watching Celine Dion sing live in KL. Sorry for repeating this for the millionth time. But it is truly amazing... if you think she sounds so good on track/radio/CD, she sounds a whole lot better live.

And it is not always like that with all singers. Only good performers can perform as good, or maybe better when they are live on stage. Not everybody can do that.

You have to possess really good vocals and a whole lot more experience/skills to look and sound good when you're singing live. It is truly not easy. And not every singer/performer can do that.

Black Eye Peas? They are one of them... the talented ones :)

XOXO,
theRascal
