Last weekend was finally the weekend where we had no particular important agenda.
The past few weekends have been quite hectic. With family commitments, work and ... work.
So, Mr. D and I took our time to wake up in the morning.
No alarm clocks ringing! Bliss. :)
Then, we decided to hit the gym. Our usual routine on a Saturday.
I waited for him to come over for a late breakfast at ABC, the coffee shop opposite my apartment. I love their variety of stalls, especially the noodles. Yummy~
After that, we decided to go to the gym at Sunway Pyramid because we'll be having lunch with our friends after that.
I suggested this quaint little cozy place right opposite Starbucks (on the outside) at Sunway Pyramid called Frames.
As you can see, a lot of frames decorating the cafe. :)
They are on sale too! So, if you see something you like, just ask for the waiter and they will be happy to assist you :)
The menu displays its concept of fusion. So, you'll see some Asian servings besides the Western ones.
Mr. D and I decided to leave Sunway Pyramid earlier for a movie in Midvalley. We didn't have a movie in mind, so we just headed there and bought this particular movie starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz entitled Knight and Day.
I would say it may not be the best compared to all the movies Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have acted in, it's just comedy. So, don't go in with high expectations.
Believe it or not, we went for a 2 hour shopping because we had to wait for our movie at 7.35pm and the one who shopped the most was him! Well, that usually happens. I only bought a clutch by Calvin Klein.
After our movie, most of the shops were closing, and the big guy asked if I have anything in mind for dinner. As usual, I have suggestions for dinner ... but it can be bad suggestions most of the time.
So, I'll leave it to him.
And he always brings me to these really nice places!
That night, I dined with Mr. D at this fabulous place called Ribs by Vintry@ Damansara Heights.
Very cozy place for a nice chit-chat.
As you can see, there are a variety of wines to choose from.
We didn't drink any that night. Not the right mood for wines ... perhaps some other day :)
Knowing that the serving would be large, we only ordered a few things to share.
We ordered the mushroom soup. YUMMY!
The highlight of the menu would be their famous ribs.
Pork ribs, to be exact.
So, we ordered their famous BBQ pork rib with special sauce.
I visited Lee Yi again on Sunday. This time, she can respond to conversations. She would smile and giggle as if knowing what I was saying. :)
XOXO,
theRascal
