It's about a week to Chinese New Year.
What the heck?!
I've not finished shopping or whatsoever ... but then again, I could never finish shopping :|
How can I be hired to shop?
As I might have mentioned in my last post. This would be my last Chinese New Year receiving red packets from the elder ones, as well as the last reunion dinner I would be having with my family, cousins ... hmm, I wonder what would it be like to have my reunion dinner with my new family? I bet it would be good, but maybe not as happening and noisy like what we always experience at home. Darling has a very small, close knit family. Oh well, we all have to grow up anyway.
One thing that would be definite - I'll miss the times I spend with my extended & immediate family during CNY.
We'll spend a lot of time together. Just catching up, picnic by the beach ... chasing after crabs on the beach, laughing at each other's silly jokes, my grandmother's picnic delicacies that she always make for us, see how my baby cousin cry when her feet touches the sand :)
Since it's kind of like my last celebration with them this year, I think I'm going to organise and do something really fun with all my cousins + grandmother who is 82 this year. So, when we look back through time, we'll always remember the days we spent together.
I'll see what I can do. :)
XOXO,
theRascal
