This time of the year, to most people, are full of joy and celebrations. I don't know about you but I have about seven people celebrating their birthdays in December. Then, we have all the school-going children enjoying the school holidays. Families go on vacations this time of the year. Our country enjoying the increase of numbers in the country's tourism sector with the Minister of Tourism smiling in his office.
Then, the year comes to a close with a big bang of celebrations from Thanksgiving to Christmas, Boxing Day and then New Year's!
Oh, in some offices they hate the end of the year. Especially accountants!
But in my house, we were celebrating quite a few things.
Yes, my dad FINALLY bought a new fridge for our condo from Harvey Norman. Look at how huge the new fridge looks like compared to the previous one, eh?
Now, I can shop for ice-creams, more fruits + vege and they won't turn yellow! :D
Everytime Bambina visits KL and when we meet, she'll give me a gift. How sweet of her... I feel so ashamed now because I didn't give her anything yet. I should when we meet next time, OK Bambz?
Picture below shows the beautiful watch Bambina gave me for Christmas :)
This next one is a surprised I was suppose to shower my Beanie. But he somehow found out about this secret project I am doing. Okay Okay... I told him myself :P
Do you like it?
It is my first time sewing/knitting something for someone. I have never done this before. Feels so good once you finish a project. I think I'll start one soon, this time for my sister... we'll see when my bank allows me to get more thread. I'm very particular about the quality of the thread because my sister needs more warmth as she's always exposed to countries with cold/temperate temperatures.
I learn this knitting skills from Miss Khoo at my old work place (oh so weird to say that). And after I got tired of making mistakes and having to wait to go to work and get her to correct my mistakes, I tried YouTube and it was such an amazing friend.
It ended up that 90% of the scarf was done by just using tutorials on YouTube! Including the frills!
I was so hyper-excited I decided to wrap it up nice for Beanie's early Christmas present.
I went to this nice place called (correct me if I'm wrong) Paper at Midvalley Megamall. He takes gift wrapping very seriously. The mixture of colours, texture of paper used as well as the decorations. Both Beanie and I love 'em. But we've never been to the shop together. :)
Tadaa!!!
It looks much shinier in real :)
And when I showed it to Beanie.........................................
LOOK AT HIM!!!!!!
I have nothing to say.
XOXO,
